Edwards had the nerve to say yes they will raise taxes, however, it will not effect 98% of all people and will not effect 99% of all businesses. The liar knows that is not true. The top 20% of wage earners pay 80% of all taxes and in that top 20% is married couples making 80K, a teacher and fireman in NY city are the rich to these phoneys.

I, for one, would like to know that given the rare chance that I am not independently wealthy that I will have SS to help cover my retirement needs (medicine, food - silly stuff like that).

I believe they say you're rich as a single person around $43K. The point is if Kerry was to raise taxes it would not be just on the so-called rich it would be on teachers, firemen, and nurses which are not what most would consider to be rich.
